How to stop spammers from changing display color in inbox (Outloo.

Trying to figure out how to prevent spammers from changing the font color
displayed on messages in my inbox. I use color-coding to highlite certain
senders. Now, even though I've deleted certain senders from the color list,
it stil tels me I've maxed out the number of senders I can highlite.

I'm running Norton AntiVirus & have XP (SP2).

Short answer is that you can't prevent spammers from doing anything that
they like. All you can do is change how you respond to the ongoing problem.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Doc asked:
