How to stop Security Updates from changing attachment prompt setti

I'm not sure if this question belongs here or elsewhere, but I'll try here
first.

Some of our users remove the check-mark so they are not prompted whether to
open or save e-mail attachments. When the monthly MS security updates are
installed, the settings are changed back and users are again prompted. Many
are getting annoyed by this monthly re-set.

Any ideas on how to disable the re-set, so that once a user elects to stop
the prompt, it won't automatically be turned back on?

Thanks in advance.

There is no way that I'm aware of but you might try asking in the windows
groups.
