How to stop my email from disappearing!!!

My email disappears! After a message enters my inbox and gets previewed in
the perview pane, it gets unbolded to indicate it is read. If I switch to
another folder and go back, it dissapears! It does not go into my deleted
folder or any other folder for that matter. In many cases, my email
disappears before I can even read it. Please help.

WM>view menu>current view>select show all messages and group by conversation
only, (top and bottom options)

Did you mean the pervert, er, preview pane?
Anyway, make sure the inbox is set to View All Messages.
Sounds like it is set to Hide Read Messages.
