How to start without a bullet and next line without indent?

Normally a text slide starts with a bullet.
In many cases you want to start with a non-bulleted introduction text over,
let's say, 3 lines. When the bullet is manually turned off (to start without
a bullet) the continued next line is indented to the bullet position
(without a bullet).

What would be the best solution to solve this 'indent without a bullet'
problem?

Thanx!

Can you see the ruler? If not view > ruler

There are two grey pointers (carets) the top one controls the indent of
paragraph first lines and the lower one other lines. Slide either so that
they both line up.

Thanks, but with this solution the whole text build up is "wrecked" when do
using a bullet on the first level...(no space between bullet and first
letter and second line starts under the former bullet...)

Please, I am looking for a more 'sophisticated' solution...

Thanks again!

Youre right that wasnt a very good method!

This is a little more difficult

On the master slide set both ruler indents for level one all the way left.
Now click in level 2 and set the bullets and text size the same as for level 1
Now still in level two drag the TOP caret to line up with the carets for
level 1 (you will need to hold down ctrl)

If you have XP / 2003 you could use multiple masters and apply this one only
when needed

For your first lines use level 1 with bullets OFF
For bulleted text turn on bullets and tab to level 2

Hope that makes some sense to you!
