Click on the Start Orb and go to Control Panel. Double-click Folder
Options. Go to the View tab. Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file
types". Apply/OK out.

In My Computer, go to Tools | Folder Options. On the View tab, in the
Advanced settings box, uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types."

Hello All,

Although my Hide file extensions is unchecked they still don't show up. Does
anyone know what I need to do?

Vista has some "super hidden" extensions.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

ShowSuperHidden:REG_DWORD:1-enable, 2-disable

Not sure of the function of this one, so I always change both at once:

SuperHidden:REG_DWORD:1-enable, 2-disable

Hello All,

Although my Hide file extensions is unchecked they still don't show up. Does
anyone know what I need to do?
