I am trying to use autocad on a metwork with 5 or 6 users. We are storing
all of the drawings and projects on one computer and accessing them from the
others. The drawings are stored in approximately 50 different folders and
each drawing (of which there are hundreds) creates its own project folder,
which each contain 5 to 10 folders, all of which must be accessable from all
the computers in the network.
this was no problem in 98 as all folders on every machine were accessable
from every other, however the switch to XP means that each folder must be
changed indiviually to allow sharing. I don't really haver that kind of time.
Can I just change one setting to allow everything on a single workstation to
be shared?
Also My network places ony lists 10 or so shared folders on any one machine,
how can I make the rest available?
