The Start Problem
Internet by modem in computer A the only one with modem and beside the plug.
1)How I make A to share Internet with B and C?
2)And do B, C or D can use the Internet with out A be connected?

***** A router will work fine, but you need to set it so it is not a DHCP
server.
1. Connect to the router's change LAN IP address for 192.168.0.5 or other
but not 192.168.0.1
2. Go in is built-in web server and disable its built-in DHCP server.
Consult the router's documentation for details.
3. Connect all of the computers to the router's LAN (local area
network) ports. Don't connect anything to the router's WAN (Internet)
port.
***** NOW What you need is Internet Connection Sharing on the XP machine
with the modem. Once enabled, the XP machine will be a DHCP server to
4. Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the modem (dial-up)
connection on A: that assigned the IP address of 192.168.0.1 to the NIC Card
of A computer and Act as a mini-DHCP server to assign IP addresses to the
other computers.
***** HOW to do:
4a. Open the Network Connections folder.
4b. Right click the modem connection.
4c. Click Properties.
4d. Click Advanced.
4e. Put a check mark in the Internet Connection Sharing box.
5. Reboot B, C and D and all other computer on the network.
So, those computers need to be setup to Automatically Obtain an IP
Address
in their TCP/IP properties
6: Once it's setup, you can access the Internet from any of the computers.
The
XP computer with the modem will have to be on, but you do not have to
initiate the dial-up from it - you can do it from any of the computers.
That work
