How to Set Folder Access controls

How do you control access to individual sub folders (or
files) within a folder that is shared to everyone in the
work group? - I've got a peer to peer workgroup
network with one PC as a file repository (quasi server).
We all share space within the same one shared directory
on this one pc. Within the shared folder that we all
access (which is mapped as a drive on the other pcs) how
do I set up indivdual private folders??
