when i use the calendar and try to just type in a note for say 8:00 am and it
is actually 7:00 am, it will automatically put the note in at 7:00 instead of
8:00 when I need it to. Also, when I go to say the 15th of the month and
type in a time slot on the daily calendar, it will show up on todays date and
not on the 15th. I am new to outlook and REALLY need the calendar and I can't
get past step 1 . PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

what version of outlook? how are you making the note? are you
double-clicking on the time slot, or New Appointment from the menu? either
way, it sould come up with the day and time you have highlighted.

IT SAYS 2002 AND I HAVE JUST TYPED IT IN, WENT TO NEW APPOINTMENT OR RIGHT
CLICKED AND NO MATTER WHAT IT JUST DEFAULTS IT BACK TO THE EXACT DAY AND TIME
THAT IT IS. I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS A DEFAULT THAT MAYBE IS CHECKED OR WHAT
BUT I CANNONT FIGURE IT OUT. I SHOWED MY BOSS AND SHE WAS LOST, SHE SAID THAT
SHE HAD NEVER SEEN IT AND SHE SHOWED ME HOW ON HER OUTLOOK(SAME VERSION) AND
SHE CAN JUST TYPE OR GO TO NEW APPOINTMENT AND IT WORKS. DO YOU HAVE AN
ANSWER??

I JUST CLICKED ON 12:00 PM AND TYPED HELLO AND HIT ENTER, IT SENT IT TO 10:55
WHICH IS THE TIME NOW AND A REMINDER SCREEN POPPED UP

AND THEN IF I TRY TO SET ANOTHER APPT SAY AT 2:00 PM AND GO TO NEW
APPOINTMENT, A YELLOW BOX ON THE APPT SCREEN SAYS CONFLICTS WITH ANOTHER APPT
