How to send email immediately without doing batch send/receive??

Bill the beast

I'm a new outlook user and am not used to a two step process where when you
compose and send several messages individually only to find that Outlook
batches them waiting for you to hit the send and receive button in the main
email window. Is there any way to send each message instantly as soon as you
hit the "send" button in the new message window????????

Go to Tools, Options and click the second tab - Mail Set Up.

The second item down is Send/Receive.

You need to check the box that says "Send immediately when connected"

Then click Apply and Ok.

Hopefully this is the info you need.
