how to send a file from "word" to e-mail address?

i have created a web page on microsoft word to be put on my geocities website
address & i dont know how to send it, please help? i am a 50+yr old
novice!!!!!!!!
 
I imagine geocities will have to provide this information.

You can e-mail a Word document by attaching it to to your e-mail message.
If you use Outlook or Outlook Express, click on the paper clip icon for
attaching the file and "browse" through your folders until you find it.
Then double click on it and it will be attached. I suppose other e-mail
programs involve a similar process. Or, in the alternative, with the file
open in Word you can click on the e-mail icon and your document will now be
included in the message. This alternative probably is not the best idea
since your document is now part of the message.

As to how you get a webpage up on a website, I am much more of novice than
you. No idea at all. Never done it. Sounds ambitions. Way out of my
league.
