Hi,
I'm trying to view car ads, but I have a range for my next car. I'd like
to put the ads into excel and extract the prices, allowing me to sort
them. As it is the price may come anywhere in the cell, but always
starts with a $, and ends with a space.
How do I just extract the word starting with the $ sign and ending with
a space. Or, probably better starting with a $ sign and continuing 5
characters
Here's an example.
2000 HONDA CRV EX, 4x4, auto, air, CD, abs, cruise. $21995. Stk# P2472.
2000 Honda CRV EX, exc cond, auto, air, tilt, cruise, CD, pw, pdl, pm,
low km, alloys, keyless, roof rack, $19,950obo
I'd like to suck out the $21995/$19,950. Some ads don't have prices, so
I'm assuming they'd show up as #N/A which would help me sort them out of
the ones I wanted to view.
Thanks!!!
Norm
PS The price is Canadian, so we're probbly getting soaked as usual.
