How to search for multiple items at the same time?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to search for multiple items at the
same time? for example, the short key "Ctrl+F" will search for a single item
at a time, such as $T, but if I would like to search for multiple items such
as $T or $U, then I need to do searching twice. Does anyone have any
suggestions on how to search for multiple items at the same time?

Multiple Items or Multiple Cells
Use Find and replace for Items and Formatting, you can use find and replace
in a macro to run when ever you like; will you most likely will be looking
for the same Items every time?
