How to save orig PPT file if I hit Save chgs but did NOT want to

In making a new PPT presentation, I accidentally clicked on YES when asked if
I want to Save Changes to the existing PPT file. I lost my original file and
really wanted to keep it and save the changes with a new file name.

Is there some way to set up an "automatic Save Original" so that you cannot
lose the original accidentally as I did? Thank you.

Yes. Shyam Pillai has a free add-in that will do just this, if you use it
religiously and don't use the File > Save method. See
