Using the "Save as webpage dialog" the document's content is transformed into
a single html-page.
Is there any possibilty to save into SEVERAL html pages, e.g based on the
styles HEADING 1, HEADING 2...?

Thanks - Hans

Hi =?Utf-8?B?aGFucw==?=,

Yes, but I'm not sure I can remember ALL the exact steps. And you may need to
try a few times before everything comes out just the way you want it.

First, save the *.doc as a *.htm file. Copy it (backup) to another folder "just
in case".

Go into the Outline view, display all relevant outline levels. Display the
"Master document" section of the Outline toolbar.

Select the entire document, from the first Heading 1 to the end.

Click the button "Create Subdocument". This should generate a sub-document
(separate file) for each Heading 1 section of text.

Within each Heading 1 section, start at the first Heading 2 and mark everything
up to the next Heading 1. Click "Create Subdocument". Repeat for each Heading 1
section.

Repeat the above for each heading level for which you want to create a separate
page.

IMPORTANT: make sure to NOT select a section break when performing the above
(most critical for the last Heading section within a heading level)

To force Word to actually save these all to disk, hold down SHIFT, click FILE,
then "Save all".
