How to run a Macro at folder/directory level

I am running a formatting macro for word documents at individual file level.
But I need to run this macro at a folder level which will have subfolder also
(without giving/changing the folder name each time in the macro, so that it
picks up that folder).
Is this possible? What is the command to be used for this (folder/directory
level application of a macro)?
Can anyone help please?
