How to reverse foreground/background colors

I occasionally copy web pages into Word. On some pages, the producer has
used strange foreground and background colors. One of the more common is
white (or other bright colored) letters on a black (or other dark colored
background. I'd like first to switch foreground and background colors, and
then to change them around to normal God-fearing black text on white
background. If I click Format Font, I can set the color to automatic, but
that doesn't do it. Please suggest alternatives.

When you paste this text into Word, the background should not come with it,
so changing the font color should suffice, and I should think that Automatic
would work; certainly Black should. If the background *is* copying with the
text, then either (a) you're viewing the text in Web Layout view, and
switching to another view that doesn't support background would lose it (you
could also choose Format | Background | No Fill), or (b) the background
color is shading, in which case you should be able to choose No Fill from
the Format | Borders and Shading dialog.
