Add a router to your network. Several routers have method of "blocking"
access to certain web site so there could be some that can "reverse" this rule?

I have to restrict access to 3 web pages:
www.cnn.com , www.nbc.com and www.one.com
Any ideas how to do that in Windows XP SP2 ?

I believe you can add the sites to your hosts file and that will block
access. See the Hosts file for instructions, but basically, you add a
line that reads "127.0.0.1 cnn.com" for example.

Hello All,

I know solution with Hosts file but it's easy to bypas by:

- type web site IP
- all subdomains are not covered by "Hosts file" solution. (correct me if
I'm wrong)

When I add cnn.com than all subdomains are not covered like: edition.cnn.com
, edition.cnn.com , weather.cnn.com etc

Any ideas how to cover this requests?
