I want to report a bug in Windows XP to Microsoft, but I can't find out how.

Who knows how to report a bug to Microsoft?

It's no blue screen error.

It's more a kind of security issue. If you open this website in IE on a XP
machine, www.zeevissen.com , then you won't be able to use copy-past or
cut-past anymore. Not only pasting text won't work, even pasting files
fails. Drag-drop still works fine.
If you close the browser window, then copy-past works again.

I think the malfunction is due to a script in that website, but it shouldn't
be possible that a script blocks a function in windows...

Yes it does! There are web scripts written to prevent copy and paste fucntions, as well as other functions also. You get a security alert stating that this fucntion is not possible on this site. In this example, the prompt states, "Sorry, that function is disabled. This Page Copyrighted and Images and Text Protected! ALL RIGHTS RESERVED" You simply click OK to remove the prompt. Surely Miss Prissy, you do know this is possible, right? Oh, I noticed someone busting you on your time zone screw up, going to admit to that by the way?

That is not a bug.. it is somebody exercising their right to keep their
material copyright.. do you have a problem with that?..

There are ways around this of course. Like delving into your TIC
folder after logging off the website and finding the relevant page
and copying stuff from there...but of course we wouldn't do that
because the website owner doesn't want his/her contents pinched.!
