The USPS no longer accepts that format for bulk mail discounts -- see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/897290. You might as well not use the
barcode feature at all.
But if you insist, having added an envelope to a document you can add a
barcode field (Insert > Document Parts > Field) - or you can download the
envelope samples from my web site which include a version with bar code
field, and use it as conventional document template linked to Outlook.
