How to replace full-width characters and numbers with half-width ones?
 
Select the text. Go to Format > Font and click the Character Spacing
tab. Set the Scaling dropdown to 50% and click OK.

I suspect the OP was referring to complex scripts or Asian characters, in
which case there is probably another, better answer.
