How to rename cmd.exe

A.M

Hi,

For some security reasons i want to rename critical command lines including
cmd.exe and net.exe. When I rename those files, windows recovers them.
What would be thae best way to hide those critical command lines?

Thanks,
Ali

Windows File Protection is causing them to reappear. You would have to
disable it, but that is an important self repair feature of the operating
system. You might consider changing the ntfs permissions on those files
instead. Keep in mind that either way, service packs or possibly update
patches could replace those files. See links below for more details. ---
