How to rename a xls file

Hello,

I use the command DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheeta to create a
xls file in the code. I need to rename it, because I need
to add the timestamp at the end of the process. I tried
the command Docmd.Rename. But since xls file is not in the
list of its objecttype, I got the error. What is the
right way to rename a xls file.
