how to remove spyware for good.

i have found "PSGuard" spyware on my computer. i have used 2 spyware removal
programs to remove it. each time the programs say it is removed, but it
persists. even a registery cleaner cannot remove it. i would appreciate any
help with this difficulty. it is listed on my computer as " HKEY LOCAL
MACHINE\Software\PSGuard.com\PSGuard\P.S.Guard " and "
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PSGuard.com\PSGuard". thankyou for any help.
