Nope. This is an *OUTLOOK* group, Windows Messenger has nothing whatsoever
to do with Outlook. Please repost in a group appropriate to your OS (which I
guess is XP).
In Outlook, go to Tools | options ....find the messenger section and untick
the box. You weren't very clear in your original post (there's Windows
Messenger, and then there's MSN Messenger (IM), which are totally different
things - I reckon that's why people told you to go to a Windows group.
Always good to be detailed in NG posts - also include things like your
version of Outlook.
