how to remove blank rows after a refreshing external data

If I previously have 500 rows and a refresh returns 200 rows, CTRL END or the
subtotal functions still thinks there is 500 rows.
 
Thanks Frank .... I'll use the suggestion code to make my own macro. You'd
think this would be an option available in the External Data properties.
 
Did you save the workbook after refreshing the query?

Did that change anything - just curious.
 
Oh Brother ... it sure did ... save the worksheet and the active cells must
get refreshed ... Thanks for this Tom.
