How to remove an AUTOPLAY handler?

CRS

I've just noticed that when I insert an audio CD, and get presented with
a list of handlers to play it, there's an entry in the autoplay handler
list that I don't recognise. The title of the handler is in Japanese,
Chinese, or Korean (not sure which). I may have installed some sort of
CD player in the past and subsequently removed it, but the entry in the
handler list remains. It doesn't appear to be doing any harm, but I'd
rather not have it there.

Is there any way I can remove this entry? I have thought of doing a
registry search and delete, but since the title of the handler is in
Japanaese/Chinese/Korean, I can't type anything in to search for.

I was wondering whether someone could point me to where where in
registry (hopefully) all the autoplay handlers for the drive are listed
so that I could check for any I don't recognise and then remove them.

Any help appreciated. Many thanks.

CRS.

Hi CRS,

The handlers are present in this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers\

-or-

Try the utility which I wrote, that can remove the unwanted autoplay handler entry.

Ramesh,

You're a star! I downloaded your utility and 30 seconds later I'd
removed the offending handler. I've been trying to do that for 6 weeks.

Very many thanks. Genuinely appreciated. Best regards,

CRS.
