How to release application patches.

Dear All,

I have an application by VB.Net, which has an .exe and multiple
dlls. Everytime I make changes to some of the dlls, i need to
re-install the application.
Can i just build a patches using dot net deployment project that
contains the modified dlls, instead of whole application?
