Windows XP install disk

I want to completly reformat my HD on my Dell 700
Dimension. I have upgraded with XP from 98. I have ALL of
my original disks.........cannot find my damn XP upgrade
disk.
I bought it for $89 bucks, installed it and registered it
so I am 100% legal. But now I cannot find the damned
original XP. I did find my XP plus but obviously that
does me no good.

Any way around this or do I hafeta' fork over more money
to poor ol "Bill" ????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I was thinking of borrowing someonex xp and register it
using my original cd numbers if that is possible......

TIA

The important thing is the installation Product Key, which you can find
if you get the free Aida 32, enterprise edition from
http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32
which is an excellent general System Info tool, and its Software -
Licenses page will tell you the one used for Windows and ones for
several other items.

Note that if the machine came with XP installed, this will probably give
a key used in producing an original image, then cloned to all machines
they make. So it is not the one for a reinstall. But then the key will
be on a label on the case of the machine

The physical disk you will have to ask Dell for - as you will have and
be able if need to quote the Key, they should provide a disk for a
nominal charge
