How to reinstall window me fron xp home edition

Hi there, I have inspiron 5000e laptop with xp home edition, It came with
window M.E. but i had to erase it because i need more disc space. Now there
is no trace of it at all on my computer. Now i want to reinstall window me
but the computer does not recognize the cd. What i can do to reinstall it?

You will need to do a clean install and have all the original drivers on
hand for the laptop's hardware.
