How to register the "mailto:" protocol for a new eMail client ?

I got a very lightweight email client which comes without an installer.

Thus this eMail client is NOT listet as possible email client in

IntExplorer->Tools->InternOptions->Programs->E-mail

How do I register (und un-register) this email client as handler for "mailto:" protocol
in Internet Explorer ?

Some software without an installer, need to be registered manually!
