Here is my situation: I am working for a school with 500+ students. On
the server there is an e:\home\students directory and under that are home
directories for every student. The directory names correspond to the
students' login IDs. On many of the directories, the student has correct
permissions to the directory itself, but has lost all permissions to files
and folders under the directory.
What's the easiest way to restore rights back? Basically I want to enable
the "Reset permissions on all child objects with entries shown here that
apply to child objects" setting for all 500 home directories without going
into each directory manually. Thanks in advance for any help!
