How to reboot whilst connected to remote desktop

Hi,

Run it from Task Manager (right-click the taskbar and select it on the
remote machine). You will have to reestablish the remote desktop session
afterwards, it will (obviously) drop the connection when the remote machine
shuts down.

Not that I know of, the RD will always simply show the disconnect option
rather than the normal shutdown.

Start --> Windows Security (to the right of All Programs)
and choose shutdown option.

Anyway to make it appear in the start menu as if locally at the machine?
 
On the remote machine:
start, run, type in:
%windir%\System32\SHUTDOWN.exe -r -t 05
