How to read vfp files. VFP v9 driver not working for me.

What do I need to read VFP databases?

I just migrated from one machine to a new one. All was fine til then.
Thought I copied everything, but cannot get into old VFP files as
before. Downloaded the new OLE VFP 9 drivers from MS and can open
*most* of the tables in the .dbc file, but not all. I am now
confronted with this beaut:
"The provider could not determine the Decimal value. For example,
the row was just created, the default for the decimal column was not
available, and the consumer had not yet set a new Decimal value."

Error will present itself in a preview data (data designer) or a fill
statement. MS, you got me again. Doah!

I would very much appreciate getting this to work as it did/should
before my migration. There are several tables that contain multiple
decimal fields. This is a conversion program that reads the data from
the old VFP database that are still in use here (by some) and sends the
nightly updates to the SQL Server on the Server machine.

I downloaded the previous (working) VFP driver from the MS website
sometime around Oct/Nov '05. Any idea where I might find that again?
It was an ODBC driver and worked nicely. This one (v.9 OLE) appears to
be quirky. I'm in a pickle.

Hi Mike,

I'm not entirely clear on what's happening for you, but it sounds like you
previously used the FoxPro ODBC driver. That's downloadable from
msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/updates/odbc. There used to be a link
to it on the updates page but that was changed last winter sometime.
