How to read old messages from mail server?

Im new to mail clients.
I did a try of Mozilla Thunderbird. And it downloaded all messages from
every mailbox at the very start!
When I tried to use Outlook, it did not show any of old messages. Why is that?

NO IT DID NOT. THE ISSUE IS THAT OUTLOOK DOES NOT SHOW MESSAGES FROM INBOX
(from the server, not from local drive), AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT HAS NO OPTION
TO DO THAT. Thunderbird was for comparison.

Don't use all CAPS; it means shouting and it hard to read.

You might want to post a whole lot more specifics then;
Version of Outlook?
Type of mail account?
Do the messages still show when you logon to you webbased mail client
provided by your ISP?

BUT MY PERSONAL OPINION is that font is a way too small here, and it is much
easier reding CAPS. But I can try not to use them, if you promise not to
think I'm stupid :)
I use Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180 (xpsp_sp2)
type of mail account? inbox.lv, google.com,..
"Do the messages still show when you logon to you webbased mail client
provided by your ISP?" What you mean by that? My ISP provides internet
connection, and has no deal with mail clients.. Of course I can read messages
when Im logging in..you know, the wpage, where I have that e-mail.

Yep, except when you are posting in all CAPS ;-)

You're welcome! :)

Yeah, the beauty of computers can't prevent other people from offense you by
using caps, I guess..

BTW (oops, sorry, here they go again!), isn't there any anti-CAPS add-on for
browsers? :)
