How to read newsgroups in Outlook?

Is there a way to read newsgroups in Outlook XP? A plug-in or some
third party software?

I was using OE but it corrupted itself after I installed Office XP
(imagine that).

Because that doesn't help OE. I even did a restore point but OE still
doesn't allow me to create or reply to messages. Or look at the
address book. I get the

There was an error opening this message
I've tried many things for it but nothing works.
