I am trying to create a drive image of Windows 2000.
ran SYSPREP
ran Power Quest Drive Image
All worked fine but the original hard drive partition is
larger than the the one I am trying to restore to. I
have learned that I need to re-size the partition on the
original drive then re-create the image. Can I do this
using a utility that comes with Windows 2000 Professional
or do I have to use a 3rd party application?

thanks,

troy

Hi, Troy.

How did you learn this? I haven't used Drive Image, but I'm pretty sure
that you don't need to do this.

Win2K's Disk Management can create, delete and format partitions, but it
can't resize them, either up or down. :>(
