how to re-direct the sent email to my own account

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me here. In outlook 2003, i
have my own email account created. What happens is that the outlook by
default sends the "sent items" to the "sent items" folder under Personal
Folders eventhough i send the mail through my email account. I don't know if
this is how outlook works.

My question is whether there is a way of telling the outlook to send the
"sent items" to my selected account or my own created account rather than
"Personal Folders" when an email is sent out.

Thank you in advance

Placing sent items in the sent items folder is a setting with outlook - it is
outlook's "normal" behaviour
you can change this setting in the tools menu
if you wish to place the sent items in a diffrent folder depending on
diffrent conditions, you can create rules to do so

Thank you Aligator for your reply.

Yes, it works. I ended up setting up a rule to do that but i'm still getting
a copy of the sent item sitting in the "Sent Items" of the Personal Folders.
Essentially, i have two copies, one parked in the Personal Folders and the
other one in my own account.

If i may ask another question, Is it possible to remove the Personal Folders
altogether and left with my own created email account. This way, we'll get to
see all the things stored in our account folder, not the Personal Folder.

Thank you in advance
