How to produce emailable size document (includes photos) in Word.

I have a document I wish to email from Microsoft Word and the document
includes pictures which makes it enormous. I am looking for a way to reduce
the size of the document which contains both typing and pictures.

While you can Zip the document to reduce its size, there is little that you
can do about the pictures. One possibility is to upload the pictures to your
web space (or to one of the sites that allow uploads - eg
http://tinypic.com/index.php) and link the images into the document from
that location instead of embedding them.
or
You could reduce the size and resolution of the images before inserting
them.
or
Print the document, put it in an envelope and post it!

Or, if the size is a problem only for emailing, you could upload it to
http://senduit.com/ and send the download link to the recipient(s). One
caution: You must set the expiration time BEFORE you start uploading the
file (I had to upload a PDF twice yesterday because I neglected to change
the setting from "30 minutes" to "1 week" before starting).
