How to print from micro. word 03' without going on micro. office i

I want to print a document from microsoft word 2003 but whenever I press the
'print' button, it says to save, then suddenly moves the document to
microsoft office imaging. How do I fix this problem?
 
Go to the file menu and press print. Check the selected printer name and
change it to your printer.
 
And set the default Windows printer to that same printer so it doesn't
re-occur next time you start Word.
