How to prevent that the lower part of the characters <g, j, p, q, y> are "cut off" at the four top l

Well, so could it then be that you have perhaps a different
(newer!) version as me? I got 'Version 6.0.6000.16386'.
Bye, Philippe.

So do I. I suspect that the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version
have different version numbers.

I stand corrected. I was looking at the reply window and not the separate
message window. I see the cut off also. Its poor programming in that they
didn't make the box big enough for the characters. I doubt they will ever
change it, and there's nothing you can do about it.

cheers,

steve

nah. I see it also regardless of version number. You and both have SP1,
and he doesn't, but it doesn't matter. They seem not to have fixed much of
anything in SP1 with respect to WinMail.

Wow, so great to know that YOU TOO can now confirm "this"; dear Steve!
But note: The problem is NOT that the box isn't 'big enough, but the fact
that those two in question (out of four) are positioned LOWER; hence being
affected by the next box 'further down the line'; okay!
Indeed, on the two 'straight' boxes 'Date:' and "Subject:'...no such
cut-off!
Bye, Philippe.
