How to prevent Ralplayer and Quick Time was being added to registry

When I start Realplayer, it keeps loading the
Real Player Scheduler and wanting to connect to the
Internet.
Everytime, MS Anti-Spyware pops up to give me a noticue
that it is adding it.

How do you get MS Anti-Spy to Not Allow the change into
the Registry.

I have to keep using Spyware Spybot to remove the entries.

Hi There,

I cannot help with MS Antispy as im not using the scanner
other's may be able to advise you on that.

But there is 2 added items when you install quicktime and
realplayer that searches for updates, they are not needed
and owned by third party companies,im not sure if they
are causing the problem but they can be removed to
prevent them staring when you boot.

The easiest way to fix them to save going into the
registry is by using Hijack This:

First right click desktop or c/drive and choose new >
then folder > name it and press enter

Download Hijack This:

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Save it into the folder you just created,Extract and
run, close any other open windows except hijack
this, choose to run a system scan and put a check next to
these 2 lines:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program
Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime

Do not delete the folders in c/drive they are not
malicious you just need to fix the above entries to
remove the registry run commands for them.It will not
effect you playing files on either realplayer or
quicktime and you can still manually update when you want
to.

When you have checked them close all windows and
press 'Fix Checked'

reboot and see if you are still getting the alerts if not
uninstall hijack this
