HOW TO PLACE CIRCLE AROUND EXISTING TEXT?

Using Word 2003, I need know procedure to place a circle around a no or yes
answer.
 
A circle is possible, but if enclosing the yes or no will suffice, you can
select it and use Format | Borders and Shading: Text.
