How to output only the first page of a report as a rtf file

In an application that generates four different reports, there is a need to
limit the pages of one of the reports to only the first page when outputting
that report as a rtf file. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks Pieter, I've given your suggestion a try, yet I'm running into a
