how to operate window 98 based program on windows xp

I'm having clashes with windows XP when operating my cad program which is windows 98 based. I'm being told that XP can mimic 98 but can't find any info on how to do this. Do I have to partition my hard drive and install 98 or there something in XP that I'm totaly missing? Thanks. HV

In start menu, all programs, go to the specific program, right click with mouse, properties, compatability, select run as windows 98, apply

You can run any program in compatablilty mode with win95,98,nt,2000 etc

got it figured out. you cannot get to compatibility mode the way you suggested. you have to go to your desktop and right click the icon there only. Thanks though. it did work.
