Running Windows XP, SP2. What do I have to do so that when I open a window
it automatically expands to full size without my having to manually resize
it. I remember with Win98 there used to be a box to check that would do
that for you, but I can't seem to find that in XP. Thanks.

Assuming that you start the application from a shortcut, right-click
the shortcut and choose Properties. On the Shortcut tab, go to the
line that says "Run," and change the setting to "Maximized."
