Thanks for your response.
The Windows Sidebar icon is in the Systray but not in Quick Launch. How
can I get it entered in the Quick Launch?

churin,

Windows Sidebar shortcut is under Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories.
Command line for shortcut is "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe"
You can create a new shortcut on Quick Launch toolbar or copy it from
abovementioned place.

Once sidebar is running, right-click on it and choose PROPERTIES. Check
the "start sidebar when Windows starts" box.

When you want it to pop up, press <Windows key|spacebar>. Windows key
is the one with the flag.
When you want sidebar to vanish, right-click it and choose CLOSE SIDEBAR.

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right click on Windows Sidebar.
Choose "Add to Quick Launch".

Thanks for your response.
I am still unable to do "Choose "Add to Quick Launch"". When I clicked
"Windows Sidebar" as you posted nothing except the sidebar showed up on
the screen so that I could not choose anything. Your further assistance
is appreciated.

Hi Churin,

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and, using your mouse pointer,
hover your mouse pointer over the "Windows Sidebar" shortcut icon (so that it
is highlighted), then RIGHT click once. That is, using a standard mouse
with two buttons, use the button on the Right side of your mouse to click
"Windows Sidebar"; (DON'T click on it with the button on the LEFT side your
mouse). You will see a context menu pop up with a list of choices, one being
"Add to Quick Launch"; now use your Left mouse button to choose (highlight
and click) that option in the menu.

After that, you should see a new shortcut for the Windows Sidebar in the
Quick Launch area of your taskbar. If you don't see it, click on the ">>"
icon at the end of the Quick Launch toolbar to see all of the shortcuts. You
can resize the toolbar if you want it to show all the time.

Hope this helps,
Dean
