catalog.wci is created by the index server
Turn off the Indexing Services for your folders / web in the Computer Management MMC

| HI! I moved the my sites to and the default web to another drive and assign

| tried to move the Inetpub for now ( Before actually deleting it) and I could
| not move catalog.wci. I get an error message that its being used. I stopped
| all the webs and the smtp folders in the manager. is there something else I
| need to disable?
