how to move my document

I need to move my all files (document,picture,etc...) form C to D partition.
i know i can move them in windows xp sp2. but in Vista i do not know.

Just right-click on Documents, then go to properties. You should see a
location tab where you can edit the path to Documents, where it can even be
changed to point to another drive!

I think Fanghorn is meaning the User folder, you can move the individual
folders from inside of there, but I don't believe that the User folder
itself can be moved.

I don't know whether this is such a good practice anymore, used to be that
you would keep the user files away from the partition that the OS was on so
that in the event of having to reinstall, at least your files were safe.
But now Vista creates a WindowsOld folder and puts in all of the previous
user files when it installs.

Anyone care to comment on this one way or the other?
