How to monitor changes in system time

Users have been changing the system clock, in order to make it appear as if
they arrived earlier than they actually did, in our small lab.

I see system time changes in the system log.

Is there an automated way to alert me, when a user changes the system clock?
 
Assuming you can limit your users' rights (not let them have administrator
privelege), further limit who can change system clock in Group Policy Editor

Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local
Policies/User Rights Assignment/Change System Time. Remove the Power User
access if you give them that.
